Confirmed behavior

The notes state that Server Discovery supports custom server images. When an image is not set or approved, the default image is displayed. A later entry says approved custom images should now appear correctly in the server browser.

The same notes explain that listings with more than four tags display the first three tags followed by an overflow indicator. Hovering over that indicator displays the remaining tags.

Requirements that remain undocumented

The Update 6 notes do not specify an image-upload workflow, pixel dimensions, aspect ratio, accepted file formats, maximum file size, safe area, animation support, or approval criteria. Operators should therefore avoid presenting guessed conventions—such as a particular PNG size or 16:9 ratio—as Hytale requirements.

Hytale's Server Discovery announcement says operators submit listings through Server Profiles in Hytale Account Manager. Submitted listings enter moderation, and accepted listings appear when the server sends authenticated heartbeats using its discovery token.

The announcement states that a server is hidden from discovery when the service receives no heartbeat for more than two minutes.
